How to enable remote access to a machine if you can't/don't want to do it locally. In order for this to work both computers need to be on the same network.
Run regedit.exe
Click File
Click Connect network registry...
Enter the name of the computer in the text field and click OK
Navigate to this key > HKLM\System\CCS\Control\Terminal Server\fDenyTSConnection
